The school of management studies has been established with a view of imparting management education to persons of industry, academia & fresh graduates. The School came into existence with starting a programme of Master of Business Administration. Later on other porgrammes of the department were also started considering the demand of the learners. The school is enriched with highly qualified; skilled, dedicated faculty members. The visiting faculties from various prestigious organizations are involved in teaching and research work in the school. The school has organized five National Seminars including a seminar on smart city. The school has also conducted so many workshops and training programmes to develop and enhance the skill of the learners.
The course structure and syllabus of different courses are designed by the school board and board of study followed by Academic Council and Executive council. The opinion and suggestions of experts from different fields are included to enrich the course structure and syllabus of courses. This is also done to match the earners skill and orientation with the demand of business environment
